Opened in 2012, The Tasting Shed has fast become one of Auckland's most popular restaurants.
Set in Kumeu among wineries and rolling hills, yet just 20 minutes from central Auckland, the venue is perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic meal for two.
The main dining room is relaxed and welcoming and a separate outdoor area called The Grotto provides for alfresco dining. With a waterproof canopy and heating, the area is great for outdoor eating whatever the weather.
The menu is based on a series of small plates designed for sharing and includes meat and seafood. There is an extensive wine list available by the glass or carafe and the drinks menu also includes single malt whiskies.
